Blog Session 1: My autobiography

I am Pamela Lara, and I was born in Puerto Montt, in the South of Chile. I studied all my life in the same school, Colegio Arriarán Barros, one of the most known mixed schools in the city. I made friends there that I still have today, more than 25 years later.

I came to Santiago 14 years ago to study Translation at USACH. After finishing university I went to Brazil for three months to improve my Portuguese. When I returned to Chile, I found a job as an English teacher, and I have worked as a teacher since then. However, I continued studying to improve my teaching skills, and in 2016 I finished my Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at UNAB.

I got married in 2010, after 6 years of being in a relationship, and I live with my husband and baby girl in La Florida.

I have many hobbies, I love baking, watching series and movies, and crocheting.
